British Produce Galore!

Hi all,

it's a long time since I wrote a blog piece, so bare with me. Firstly, as ever, thanks to all of you who order from me regularly, your support is greatly appreciated.  The Summer holidays have been & gone & It's back to school (or University) for the kids.I hope you all made & stored some lovely memories, I certainly did!   It's been very quiet for me on the business front, so I'm hoping orders will pick up. and perhaps some of my regular customers standing orders that have been put on hold for the Summer may get restarted.  If you are interested in perhaps having a fixed box on a regular standing order do get in touch. This is helpful for me as this service has the added bonus for me of avoiding website fees.  I'll hopefully be restocking my wholefoods section next week too.

Stock

There's lots of very good British produce around at the moment with a lot of it being reasonably local too. I have -  'Scrumptious' Apples, Aubergine, Beetroot, Celery, 'Cavolo Nero' Kale, Leeks, 'Little Gem' Lettuce, 'Conference' Pears, Spinach, Sweetcorn, Vine Tomatoes.  Also I'll have some lovely Red Grapes & Mangos from Italy/Spain this week.

Some of you are aware of the impending sale of the business centre where I have my unit, other than the city council saying they are still in the process of selling the site, I have no news. In spite of regular searches I still haven't found a suitable premises as cheap as my current unit as most are too large & therefore more expensive than I can afford. If anyone knows of anything that may be suitable in South Birmingham, I'd love to find something around the Stirchley area. My current workspace is around 23 sq. mtrs./250 sq. ft.
